Chch - Singapore ...

At Singapore airport - after 10 hours aboard.... not without incident ... Master Sharp managed to lock himself into the aeroplane toilet doing "number 2's" ... and then it took several minutes of "coaching" to help him "free" himself again.... followed by large claps of relief by onlookers!!!

However, thanks to the Baralett's toy car which he managed to drive up and down the isle for an hour.. the ten hours will seem quick compared to the next 15 hour haul to Barcelona. We do have an hour lay-over in Milan...

So.. 10pm NZ time... no sleep... the kids are now in that crazy giggly overtired state in the kids play area... only 5 more hours until we board (3am NZ time)...The itinery man has been sacked!

Never mind.. the adventure has started.... write again in Valencia!

Hi to the Sharps - sounds like you should rename your site "Sharps in Pain" after that airplane journey!!! Character building stuff. Looking forward to hearing about your settling in adventures.
Best of luck, from the Sturms.

Oh poor 'Sharps in Pain'!
But well done Master Sharp - nothing like a child/toilet crisis to fill in a bit of time on a long haul flight!Bet the other passengers appreciated the diversion too.
Hope you've had a bit of catchup sleep by the time you read this!
All the best

This is the best way to visit daddy - 45 min bike ride down the promonade. You have to look out for trees and spanish ladies (Hunter found out!!)

Gullivers Travels

Gullivers Travels
In the old river Turia (river redirected long ago after continuous flooding) there are lots of playgrounds and bike tracks. The kids are playing on a huge giant Gulliver. There are lots of slides and stairs and ropes to climb. If you look hard you can see Gullivers head behind - the kids are standing on his arm.

The Spider Web

The Spider Web
A huge rope spider web on the beach is very cool to climb up (Mum only spent a very SHORT time at the top!!!)

Glad we were there at 1pm and not 12 noon. The bell chimes on the hour.
