43 hours in the air......

Olah!
We are here. A very long trip.... and we are happy to report the legs from Singapore-Milan (1 hr stop over) - Barcelona were pretty much without a hitch. We were able to stretch our (tired) legs in Barcelona as we had 4 hours before we caught the train to Valencia. Zoe has been a great traveller... and after only 3 hours sleep - 1 of which was on the ground at the edge of the kids play area in Singapore airport ...(out of 38hrs at that point) fell asleep whist waiting for the train. Hunter has spent the last month very excited about the 3 hr train ride from Barcelona to Valencia... but after 5 minutes on the train, both kids were asleep for the entire journey. Maybe next time!

Arrived in Valenica 6pm local time monday evening (4am tuesday morn NZ Time). 43 hours in total. Not the recommended route.

Bed at 8pm to a great and welcome sleep for all.

This is the best way to visit daddy - 45 min bike ride down the promonade. You have to look out for trees and spanish ladies (Hunter found out!!)

Gullivers Travels

Gullivers Travels
In the old river Turia (river redirected long ago after continuous flooding) there are lots of playgrounds and bike tracks. The kids are playing on a huge giant Gulliver. There are lots of slides and stairs and ropes to climb. If you look hard you can see Gullivers head behind - the kids are standing on his arm.

The Spider Web

The Spider Web
A huge rope spider web on the beach is very cool to climb up (Mum only spent a very SHORT time at the top!!!)

It's not so bad having your cousins to play with every day!

Glad we were there at 1pm and not 12 noon. The bell chimes on the hour.
