Apartment living

The entire size of the apartment would fit inside Zoe's school classroom! Imagine that Moutere .... 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and a living area.

We are four stories high, with 4 apartments on each level. We live in block 16, apartment number 16. We have a key to get into the main complex, and also a key to get into our block. If we have a visitor they need to "buzz" us at the entrance so we can push a button to let them in. We use the stairs (if we are feeling fit) and the lift (like when Mum got a load of groceries today!) to get up to our apartment. It is clean, comfortable and even has a dishwasher!

In May, when the weather warms up we can use the swimming pool (which is in the centre of the apartment grounds) ... it is too cold to swim yet. When we woke up this morning it was very cold and raining.

We will try and take some photo's of the apartment soon. Hunter is very excited as he can watch the train go past from our balcony window.

Hi Zoe and co . We can't believe that it took 43 hours in the air to get to Spain.
How long would it take to get to the moon?

We thought it was funny that Hunter got stuck in the toilet!
Zoe, we hope you have found a more comfortable bed than the playground!
We have planned out your apartment in our classroom and we think it will be fine! cosy, but fine Afterall we have 20 people in our room when Zoe is here . we do go home to sleep though!

lots of love
Moutere

Glad to hear you've arrived and the adventure has started! Sorry it was so adventurous already (43 hrs) though. I guess the size of the apartment will cut down any housework so more time for fun. Its raining here too (on our apple pickers) with a cold front on the way - you left with the end of summer I think. Hope you catch a norther hemisphere one soon (the pool sounds good) Seen any shoe shops yet Janine? - Sue

Hi Guys - what an excellent adventure. We are enjoying your excerpts and pictures. The kids thought the headphones looked cool.
I agree with Sue - a nice cosy apartment means alot less time with the housework and alot more time eating tapas and flemenco dancing!!
Emily and Isaac say "Hi Zoe Hi Hunter" Keep informing us all of your adventures
Love the Reillys

Just a wee bit envious JP, I think Valencia must be slightly more exciting than Balmoral.... though am glad I'm not looking forward to 31 March like Rach!

We look forward to the next Sharp Instalment!

Lynne, Jez, Ava & Max
ps
Ava thinks Zoe and Hunter look nice and would like to play with them one day, I'd quite like to play with Mum one day too!

Transport
This is the best way to visit daddy - 45 min bike ride down the promonade. You have to look out for trees and spanish ladies (Hunter found out!!)

Gullivers Travels

Gullivers Travels
In the old river Turia (river redirected long ago after continuous flooding) there are lots of playgrounds and bike tracks. The kids are playing on a huge giant Gulliver. There are lots of slides and stairs and ropes to climb. If you look hard you can see Gullivers head behind - the kids are standing on his arm.

The Spider Web

The Spider Web
A huge rope spider web on the beach is very cool to climb up (Mum only spent a very SHORT time at the top!!!)

It's not so bad having your cousins to play with every day!
