Four down one to go!

Well - looks like the America's Cup village will be the place to be tomorrow!
Yippee...let's hope it will be 5 out of 5!
The gap seems to be getting bigger....but who wants to count the chickens yet?

On the social front...yes - we may just get a few extra days to play with Rod home!... what?... of COURSE I care about the racing!

We have had a few lovely days with a wee treasure hunt around Valencia to help celebrate Zoe's 6th birthday. The clue leading up the bell tower, arriving 2 mins before 12 noon... to witness a VERY LOUD bell tolling 12 DONGS for mid-day was a little unfortunate however. Maybe 1pm would have been a better choice. Never mind - we made our way back down the 207 steps with ears in tact...if a bit wobbly from the experience!

We are looking forward to our NZ visitors...Lisa and Gary Reilly arriving this friday afternoon. A bit sad that the LV racing might be all over red rover though. Bugger.

How are the heads? Awesome work Team New Zealand. I'm sure it was all the cheering from the Sharps camp, especially now you have a six year old on board!
Love seeing all your photos. Enjoy some time as a family now before the big finale.
The Franklin tribe are just embarking on a six week trip to Aussie so we'll be able to visit your site from there.
Go Black Go!

Thanks for saying that Zoe.

I went to Wanaka to see my Dad in April and I have been looking after my baby brother. Alex can crawl and he is nearly 10 months old.

Mum has been having a great time going to Fiji and then to Cairns soon. She is having a good year at last!

Go team NZ!!!

LOVE Samantha and linley.

Hi Guys - Didn't we do well - Definately looking forward to getting there on the 24th now the boys are in the cup. We missed the last 2 races as are in the UK now & no SKY. Did manage to see the 3D race with the Alcatel-Lucent Americas cup anywhere site - Is that your system Rod. Was very good but not quite like the real thing!
Noel is panicking about getting on a spectator boat - do you still think the best thing is to wait till the day or to book ahead?
Good to see you're all still having a good time - see you on the 24th
Cheers, Dawn & Noel

Transport

Transport
This is the best way to visit daddy - 45 min bike ride down the promonade. You have to look out for trees and spanish ladies (Hunter found out!!)

Gullivers Travels

Gullivers Travels
In the old river Turia (river redirected long ago after continuous flooding) there are lots of playgrounds and bike tracks. The kids are playing on a huge giant Gulliver. There are lots of slides and stairs and ropes to climb. If you look hard you can see Gullivers head behind - the kids are standing on his arm.

The Spider Web

The Spider Web
A huge rope spider web on the beach is very cool to climb up (Mum only spent a very SHORT time at the top!!!)

It's not so bad having your cousins to play with every day!

Glad we were there at 1pm and not 12 noon. The bell chimes on the hour.
