What a race! Who would have thought we could have lost the match race by second!
VERY exciting..........and much harder to "stomach" than if Team NZ had lost convincingly.
A very flat tuesday evening.
So...we have comenced the packing up. Enjoying our last visitor, Wendy my second cousin from the USA who leaves today. I must away to book her taxi and think about packing the rest before we depart for Barcelona on tuesday, Singapore for 2 nights to arrive in Christchurch at 9am monday 16th. We are looking forward to seeing you all then.
Loads of love,
Janine, Rod, Zoe and Hunter

We have enjoyed every minute of it- the ups and downs are what makes the event so exciting.
Have a safe trip home- you have had a wonderful time and seen and done so much- thanks for taking us all on the ride with you.

Looking forward to seeing you on your return - have really enjoyed the running commentary and your adventures. Looking forward to hearing when & where the next Cup will be!
Have your winter woollies ready - we've been enjoying some lovely jack frosts!
Have thought of you lots this week while at Tata Beach, setting the alarm to watch the races(like I wasn't sleep deprived already!) Very exciting & a shame its over a few races short. Look forward to seeing you soon. Make the most of the sun... we are off to the snow tomorrow.
Safe travels Sheryl, Rich & co
ps Rich only just getting over that you left without him as nanny!!
Shame it is over-but what a fantastic ride it has been!
Safe journey home.

Doesn't matter!
Now you've got a few extra days up your sleeves to go shopping - you know all those European fashion items that will look right at home on the Appleby paddocks.
It's a pity you be hiding your tans under 6 inches of merino wool like the rest of us. -5 degree frosts are hard on us let alone those of us returning from doing it hard in the Spanish summer.
The Whiskey and Almond liquor stocks haven't shifted much in your absence - look forward to seeing you next week - although Chrsitchurch at 9.00 am would be a bit keen!
Ka kite.

Have been on holiday and you guessed it....went to Culverden. We did manage to break away south to Tekapo, Oamaru, Timaru and shoot back up. Arrived home to a very very cold day.
We have enjoyed every bit of your journey and thank you to you all. Extremely excited about seeing you in kiwiland again. Take care and safe travels. Love The Kings
